It’s the misinformation (stupid)

Joyce Vance points out the results of a Reuters/Ipsos poll on ‘the link between media consumption and public opinion’. It shows that voters who were misinformed about important issues were more likely to vote for Trump in the recent election, while those who had the facts were more likely to vote for Harris.
We are back to George Orwell and “1984”: “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
Finding ways to get truthful information to less-engaged voters is going to be essential to restoring some kind of balance to our politics.
